Bid List Connection is an internet based application that North Coast
Surety Connection, Inc. developed that has been offered to participating
university students as a prototype application. The objective is to demonstrate
how private bid management applications can work using open standards,
and to develop electronic communication standards that both owners and
surety companies can use in the administration of their electronic verification
process.
While students learn by working with the application itself, but
the proceeds for monthly subscriptions from sponsors supporting
the project will provide the financial resources to achieve success
for the project,
and provide funding for other campus activities.
