Project Status Connection is an internet based application that North
Coast Surety Technologies, Inc. developed that has been offered to participating
university students as a prototype application they can work on. The objective
is to demonstrate how public project management applications can work using
open standards, and to develop electronic communication standards that
both owners and surety companies can use in the administration of their
project management.
Not only will the students be learning by working on the application
itself, but the proceeds for monthly subscriptions from sponsors
supporting the project will provide the financial resources to achieve
success for
the project, and provide funding for other campus activities.
